چکیده
Ultrasound (US) is an ideal diagnostic tool for paediatric patients owning to its high spatial and temporal resolution, real-time imaging, lack of ionizing radiation bedside availability. In the current World Federation Societies Ultra-sound in Medicine Biology (WFUMB) paper series so far (part I) topic has been introduced technical require-ments explained. present use US lung analysed. Lung diseases including interstitial syndrome, bacterial pneumonia viral infections, CoViD findings, atelectasis, consolidation, bronchiolitis congenital respiratory system pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM) sequester but also pneumothorax are discussed.

متن کاملReview Paper: A Review on Brain Stimulation Using Low Intensity Focused Ultrasound
Brain stimulation techniques are important in both basic and clinical studies. Majority of well-known brain stimulating techniques have low spatial resolution or entail invasive processes. Low intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) seems to be a proper candidate for dealing with such deficiencies. This review recapitulates studies which explored the effects of LIFU on brain str...

متن کاملMusculoskeletal ultrasound--a state of the art review in rheumatology. Part 2: Clinical indications for musculoskeletal ultrasound in rheumatology.
Rheumatologists remain divided on whether they should introduce musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSUS) into their clinical practice. A central issue in the application of MSUS in clinical rheumatology is the need for proof of clinical relevance and improved patient care. There is now accumulating evidence that MSUS improves clinical diagnosis and intervention skills. High-resolution ultrasound is su...
